In 2022 the Pérez Trespalacios Collection presented, at the Centro de Acción Social y Cultural (CASYC) of the Fundación Caja Cantabria in Santander, The Lost Empires. Ancient Peru, a new exhibition project devoted to the extraordinary artistic and cultural richness of ancient Peru.

The show made it possible to discover an essential part of the collection’s important holdings of pre-Columbian Peruvian art, accompanied by valuable bibliographic and cartographic testimonies from the Viceroyalty of Peru. The exhibition was a notable success with the public and critics, consolidating the collection’s reputation and its ability to bring the legacy of the Andean civilizations to a wide audience.
