Valladolid

In 2025 the Pérez Trespalacios Collection presented Alma de América. Pre-Columbian Art and Myth in the historic La Pasión Hall in Valladolid, an incomparable setting for an exhibition that was a major institutional commitment by the city, in the context of the commemorative events for Hispanic Day.

The show took on a special institutional dimension with the presence of the honorary consuls of Mexico and Peru, as well as the president of the Andean Parliament. This exhibition also marked the beginning of an important collaboration between the Pérez Trespalacios Collection and the Fundación Obra Pía de los Pizarro.

With an extraordinary reception from critics and the public, and more than 40,000 visitors, the exhibition became one of the great milestones in the collection’s history, consolidating its cultural and institutional reach.

For the occasion, the catalogue Cien huellas de lo sagrado, funded by the Fundación Obra Pía de los Pizarro, was published.
